Spring Mini Sessions are here! They will take place Sat. March 27th & Sat. April 3rd. Spaces are limited with only 16 sessions available. The best part is there will be REAL LIVE BUNNIES at these sessions, how cute- right?!?!

:: 2009 Photo Contest Winners ::

First of all THANK YOU to everyone who participated, and did your part to vote! Big congratulations to the winning couple who's picture won in the online facebook contest that I hosted for best image of 2009. I chose my favorite image from each session that I had last year and then all you had to do was get people to vote for your picture! With a whopping 130 votes this image dominated- Winners will receive a FREE 16x20 print on Matboard -Over $75.00 value!

However, since this runner up image managed to bring in 98 votes...I've decided to give a second place prize. The family in this picture will receive a FREE 11x14 print on matboard- Over $50.00 value!

:: Textures ::

So a couple of weeks ago I stumbled upon a really cool photo contest site called i heart faces. Here is the rundown... Every week they have a different theme for the photo submissions. You then upload your photo somewhere (your blog, flickr, picasa, whatever you got..etc.) and then send them the permalink to that photo or post. They vote and select the top 10 winners. It sounded like fun, so I thought I'd give it a shot this week.

This week's theme is texture. The image that I created is a little different than my usual work. But when you get inspired, you just go with it. I feel like the textures really helped to convey the story behind the image. It was one from this last weekend in Arizona again... I will be blogging lots of pictures from then haha... I actually used a combination of 3 different textures to create this moody feel. Anyways..I encourage you to head on over and enter your texture shot! It's a wonderful way to learn and challenge yourself!

I am running a photo contest!! A way to thank all of my wonderful clients of 2009! I have chosen one of my favorite pictures from every session and all you have to do is vote for your favorites!
